Questacon, National Science & Technology Centre

Together with the project manager, Lettergraphics (Australia), we developed a comprehensive suite of internal signs for Questacon. Included in the suite were identification, directional and notice signs, including regulatory, warning, information and advisory signs.

Originally the concept was to mount the signs using scientific principles – counter-balanced hanging signs using pivots and pulleys, and suction cup fixings for wall mounted signs, etc. Unfortunately this playful approach was passed over for a more “practical” one.
