Victorian Mineral Water: Interpretive Signage

Victoria’s numerous Mineral Water reserves and springs are located primarily in the Central Highlands, though others are located at Geelong and further afield. In this extensive project, we were commissioned to liaise with the Committee, research, design and develop interpretive signage for approximately 30 of the springs. This also included research into the most appropriate materials and construction methods to use in sometimes harsh and often isolated locations.

A double-sided, enamelled steel totem system was chosen – for durability and ease of maintenance. One face of the sign provided historical information for the particular spring, whilst the reverse side contained information on the spring’s mineral water.
