Stationery – a dying art

Once the staple of many an identity program, the design and production of comprehensive stationery suites is now all but non-existent. As well as the 2D design, a huge variety of paper and card stocks, embellishments (foiling, embossing, verco-type), die-cutting and surface coatings once enabled organisations to express and differentiate themselves. The ubiquitous digitally printed business card – full colour with laminate both sides – is virtually the last vestige of this old form of communication.

Below are examples of some of the stationery suites we have implemented over the years.

Thomson Hay Landscape Architects: Identity and stationery design

Institute for Regional and Rural Research: Identity and stationery design
